2021 school leavers
2021 - Thank you for all you have done, you always go above and beyond and we really appreciate it.
2020 - In this day and age where complaints are easy to do, I would like to take this time to compliment the nursery my daughter has attended Fairytales, Chesterfield Road, Barlborough, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
The staff are warm, loving and friendly ( Becky, Sarah, Rowanne, Martha, Chantelle and Jess to name but a few). I had had a really awful experience with a private childminder, so was apprehensive about sending her anywhere else. I really need not have worried, they are honest, hardworking and above all the children come first. They ensure the children are stimulated, learn about the world around them, are taught manners and care for others, take day trips, run fetes and have a Spanish teacher come in once a week(Diana, at a small extra cost).
The nursery is well run, from Brett and Dale(owners, who are around at points), Lucy who is manager, approachable and friendly. This positive attitude passes to all the staff. I have been well communicated with by everyone, any issues with my child have been addressed quickly and efficiently .......I just can't fault it. The eyLog system has faults but not through nurseries want of trying, and I love that I can see what my child has been up to, when I have to work...I can't thank them enough for all their hard work and support, and I hope that any future moderator takes parents personal experience into account.
a few 2019 face book comments .. @Lucyrebbecca
FB = Fairy tales is a great nursery. My daughter has been going since she was 11 months and I am pregnant now and couldn't think of anywhere I would rather send my new baby.
I do think a nursery is such a personal choice though, it's worth visiting each. I visited 4, as soon as I walked into fairy tales I knew it felt right, make some viewing appointments, one will click with you. x
FB = Fairy tales are fantastic x
FB = Another vote for Fairy tales from me too. Both my kids went there and never had one problem. They then went on to school club and my son tells me off if I pick him up too soon as he likes it so much. Looked round others too but my gut instinct was Fairy tales and glad it was :)
FB = Both mine went to a different nursery when we first moved to Barlborough & they didn’t settle at all, gave it 6 weeks then moved them to Fairytales & it was the best thing we ever did. Settled instantly...it’s like a home from home. Can’t recommend it enough.
Thank you so much for a really lovely time on the nursery trip. You really do an amazing job of organising them and ensuring they go smoothly, where my children are concerned I have never worried about leaving them in Fairy tales or school clubs care. Thank you x - Mrs W
It's my sons last day at nursery tomorrow and I just want to thank everyone at Fairy tales Day Nursery for looking after both my kids for the last 8 years. It has been so good knowing that while I'm working my kids have been well looked after, had loads of fun and learning at the same time and I've never had to worry about them while they are at Fairy tales. It's going to be weird not coming down there most mornings. I couldn't have chose a better nursery. Thank you for everything and helping bring my kids up to be 2 children I am so proud of x S.L, August 2014
Having put all 3 of my children through Fairy Tales I cannot sing it’s praise high enough. I moved all three there at the ages of 1,2 & 4 – from a nursery they had been in from 3 months, their transition was impeccable. I recommend them to any parents out there.
Most of the staff are Mum’s too – I know this sounds daft in some respects but it means they know what it is all about. They get the quirky requests and questions we put to them and deal with us and the children brilliantly. All 3 of my children have really loved their time at Fairy tales and have made great friends, many of them have moved on to school with them and indeed into the school club. A.H August 14
You all do a fab job with our 3 Children, so thank you!!! X
Lovely, Homely environment - I felt it as soon as I stepped inside (Mrs Hurst)
My 2nd child has just started at Fairy Tales, It was lovely to see some of the staff that were still there from when my 1st child now 7 attended.
Always willing to listen and work with parents' wishes. (Mr H)
